iswas a community of computer enthusiasts and other users who came together, pooled resources, and created a distributed infrastructure of servers and services.
We do not offer any public services anymore.
(Note: Cluenet.org is not to be confused with the ClueNet.DE ISP, which was run by different people.)
December 2017: Radian has been offline for so long that I've removed it from DNS. Whether the owner forgot to pay or shut it down deliberately, it is gone and even though I have backups, it will remain so.
October 2017: Radian finally mysteriously got a new kernel so I upgraded it from Debian 6 to Debian 9. Apparently that broke the old (MediaWiki-based) website. The ever enchroaching entropy thus consumed another part of Cluenet.
Apr 8th, 2017: Several more years have passed with nearly no activity, so it is perhaps time to properly announce that Cluenet has closed down all its public services permanently.
Dec 10th, 2014: Radian is mysteriously back up again, so the live version of the wiki as well as the main website are available for a while again. Unfortunately, still no contact with its owners, still no way to upgrade it beyond 2.6.18-linode, and still no idea about whether it's going to stay. Therefore, a link to an archived version is still here.
Mar 1st, 2014: On March 1st, our main infrastructure server – Radian – finally went down, most likely forgotten by its owner. Luckily we had fresh backups, and anything important (like the LDAP or Kerberos databases) were already mirrored across several servers.
